The UMVIM Team Leader Class is designed with the team leader in mind. The class goes over practical help and timelines. Suggested resources and team-building exercises. Has general information that relates to any volunteer team experience and also reviews help for specialized volunteer teams. Good UMVIM team experiences don’t just happen; they need to be carefully and thoroughly planned. The key is having committed team leaders who prepare first themselves and then the team.
UMVIM Team Leader Training is required for all those who desire to be a (ERT Team leader)
This will be a 2 hr refresher course for those who have previously attended a UMVIM Team Leader Training course and have read through the Team Leader handbook. Topics that will be covered include: the connectional system, culture and partnership, mission planning, customs, visas, flights, health and safety. There will be a time for specific questions the participants might have.
