The 12th annual NGUMC 5K took place on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. This year the 5K benefitted youth mission and service opportunities in the churches of our conference through the Youth Service Fund.

Session 2 was full of voting, spiritual disciplines, and reports from Fresh Expressions, Finance, Scouting, Action Ministries, and much more. The big event of this session was the Passing of The Mantle, where we got to celebrate those retiring.

The Service of Ordination, Commissioning, and Licensure is inspirational and moving celebration. Rev. Byron Thomas brought the Message with conviction. St. James Alpharetta Celebration Choir provided the music.

Day 1 of Annual Conference has ended and the Spirit is alive and well. Opening worship, the first round of reports, young adult event, and clergy executive sessions kick off the week in Athens.

As Annual Conference commences, friends from across North Georgia come together as one. Pre-Conference includes registration, Associate Secretaries meetings, Deacons dinner, and much more.
