This October, nearly 600 students and volunteers from all over the North Georgia Conference traveled to Glisson Camp and Retreat Center for the 3rd annual ROOTED Retreat.

Our fantastic retreat band, Edenfield (Villa Rica), came back to lead worship this year, and the speaker, Michael Adkins (Forest Hills UMC - Macon) delivered the messages surrounding the theme: “Everything.”

ROOTED is a retreat designed by North Georgia Conference youth workers to give youth leaders and volunteers an opportunity to spend time with their students and continue to build and nurture those important relationships without having to worry about programming, music, or where their group will get their next meal. The participants enjoy group time, powerful messages, meaningful worship, dynamic relationship building, and the many great experiences of Glisson.
