Coming to a Coffee Shop Near You: Youth Ministry Coffee
Those of you who know me know that I love coffee. I also love youth ministry. I was thinking - wouldn't it be great to combine those and share them with some of the people I love - youth ministers (professional and volunteer). So, I'm setting up some times to meet in your area and share a cup of coffee (or two) with any youth ministry types who would like to join me. We'll talk about what you're doing (or want to do) in youth ministry and how we can support each other in our areas.
Join other nearby youth ministers and me on Thursday mornings (and some other times of the week in order to accomodate those who cannot make it on Thursday mornings). We'll meet you at a coffee shop.
Below is a schedule of dates. You can leave a comment here to communicate your suggested coffee shop and time to meet. Also, let me know here or by email (shalverson@ngumc.org) if you plan on being there (even if it's last minute). If I don't get an RSVP, I won't make the trip there. 11/14 at 9:30 am at Bella Coffee, Carrollton (929 Maple St.)
11/21 at 9:30 am at Roadrunner's Coffee House, Dalton (823 North Tibbs Rd.)
12/5 at 9:30 am at Inman Perk Coffee, Gainesville (102 Washington St NW)
12/7 at 9:30 am (a Saturday morning, btw), at Starbucks on Canton Hwy (Canton Marketplace, off exit 19, I-575)
12/12 at 9:30 am at La Madelaine, Duluth (2255 Pleasant Hill Rd #480)
