Tools of the Trade

I have heard rave reviews of several online tools lately that help church members do some good old fashioned United Methodist ministry. Here are a few worth looking in to:

www.instantchurchdirectory.com/
Instant Church Directory (and other programs like it) allows you to upload digital photos of your members any time so that you always have a current online member directory. It can be printable or just housed online.

www.mealtrain.com/
Meal Train is a free online tool to help you schedule meals for a member who is sick, has a new baby, just moved, or whoever your church "meal maker" team is cooking for. It lets volunteers sign up for a date, tell what they're bringing, and sends them a reminder e-mail. The recipient of the meals can see who to expect and what's on the menu.

www.perfectpotluck.com/
Did everyone bring macaroni and cheese? Perfect Potluck is a free tool for coordinating meals for groups. (Plus they have a sister site, http://www.takethemameal.com, that is similar to Meal Train.)

www.signupgenius.com/
Signup Genius is a free online tool for creating and managing group sign up lists and forms. Schedule nursery workers, small group snacks, greeters and more.

Do you have any invaluable online tools to add to this list?
