North Georgia UMs to Road Trip to Charlotte

Young adults (and any interested adults over 18) who are interested in experiencing General Conference in person are invited to join the Road Trip to Charlotte!

The North Georgia Conference Center for Congregational Excellence has secured camp cabins at Camp Thunderbird, part of the Greater Charlotte YMCA, for the second week of General Conference.

This trip will be from Monday, April 29, to Friday, May 3.

The $260 registration fee includes 4 nights lodging, continental breakfast, and coffee each morning. 

The fee DOES NOT include transportation (although carpooling is encouraged) or meals except for the continental breakfasts. 

Housing is in bunk-style cabins approximately 20 minutes from the conference center. The cabins are all equipped with bathroom/shower facilities, heating, and air conditioning. Don't forget to pack bedding for a twin-sized bed. 

Attendees will gather on Zoom in late April to meet our cabin mates!
