NExT Training: Learn to Launch a Church Startup

7/17/2018

Do you feel called to reach the unreached? Creating new places for new faces is one of the most effective ways we can do that. And you don't have to do it alone.

That's why the North Georgia Conference developed the NExT Leadership Academy.

We've found that there are 10 essentials for successful church start-ups: Call, Vision, Launch, People, Funding, Preaching, Leadership, Family, Staffing, and Systems.

Through NExT, you'll get exposed to these essentials in action, be inspired by practitioners in startup churches and ministries, make new ministry friends as you learn and dream together, discern and clarify God's call, and write a startup plan for a new ministry and present it to potential partners.

"NExT Training for Church Startups" begins in August and is a 10-month program.

Pastors, ministry staff, ministry students, and highly involved lay people interested in leading a startup ministry should consider taking part.

The training starts with an overnight Kick-Start Retreat in Augusta where visits to three church startups set the foundation for the next nine sessions together. Then, meet each month at a unique startup ministry site located in the North Georgia Conference. Gain practical training in startup systems and competencies from Ben Cathey, Shannon Karafunda, and David Walters while also benefiting from the knowledge and experience of on-site ministry teams.

The cost is $75 per person and includes key books and Augusta hotel. Register here.
