Welcome to Murphy-Harpst 100th year! Over the past century, countless lives have been touched and transformed by Murphy-Harpst Children's Centers, a related agency of the North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church.

From residents to staff to volunteers to donors, the extent of the positive impact can sometimes be hard to measure. That’s why, to mark its 100th year, Murphy-Harpst would like to collect stories that will paint a picture of just how Murphy-Harpst has affected lives across Georgia.

If you are a former resident, volunteer, donor, team member, or have seen a life changed from the impact that Murphy-Harpst has made, please take this opportunity to share your story. These stories will give us reasons to celebrate while also giving others a glimpse into the transformative and invaluable work of Murphy-Harpst in Cedartown and across our Annual Conference.

If you have a story you’d like to share, visit https://murphyharpst.org/mh100/ to start telling your story!

With the generosity and support of United Methodists like you, Murphy-Harpst cares for Georgia's most vulnerable children. A team including more than 150 professionals work diligently to improve the lives and nurture the healing process of children in their care. A combination of therapy (equine-assisted therapy, art therapy, and more) and the personal care and mentorship of the staff allows children to learn to cope with the circumstances and trauma that brought them to Murphy-Harpst and move forward toward a future full of hope and possibility.
