General Conference Delegate Orientation Will Offer Overview of Legislation, Proposals, and Tips

Designed to help delegates prepare for the upcoming General Conference, the February 29-March 1 General Conference Delegate Orientation will be a livestream featuring sessions on the legislative process, major proposals affecting the church, and tips for success.

The free livestream event is being produced by United Methodist Communications and its UM News team in partnership with the Secretary of the General Conference.

Each day’s session will cover a four-hour block of time, creating an opportunity for delegations and other groups to hold gatherings during the other half of the day for additional in-person preparation for General Conference.

During the livestream, delegates will have opportunities to submit questions for speakers.

Non-delegates will be welcome to view the livestream as guests.
