You're Invited: Laity Gatherings Planned for March 2024

Laity, you're invited to one of four gatherings in March 2024. 

Hosted by the Conference Board of Laity, these regional sessions are a time for members of North Georgia Conference United Methodist churches to come together for fellowship, relationship building, and strengthening our United Methodist identity and our identity as disciples of Jesus Christ.

While each gathering is directed to two districts, laity may attend any gathering in any region—and attend as many as you would like. Bishop Robin Dease will attend all four gatherings. 

Registration cost is $20. This fee covers food and materials for the day. Any remaining funds will go toward purchasing items for UMCOR Flood Buckets

The gatherings are:

Sunday, March 3
2 to 5 p.m.
North East and Central East Districts
Korean Church of Atlanta UMC in Duluth

Saturday, March 16
11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Central North and South West Districts
Impact UMC in East Point

Saturday, March 23
11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
North West and Central West Districts
Trinity UMC in Cartersville

Sunday, March 24
2 to 5 p.m.
South East and Central South Districts
Madison First UMC
