The North Georgia Conference Reparations Task Force invites all cross-racially appointed pastors to "A Soft Place to Land" - a luncheon on April 16th from 11am to 2pm at Columbia Drive UMC.
The keynote address will be from Rev. Dr. Bridgette Young Ross one of the first Black pastors to serve cross racially in North Georgia.
You will also have the opportunity to share part of your story in a short video diary recorded onsite by Rev. Dr. Joseph McBrayer. These stories will help the Task Force better advocate for a more effective process for making cross-racial appointments, and better outcomes for pastors and congregations.
