Barnes Fund Grants

In August of 2020, the North Georgia Annual Conference approved a new committee with an important task: to distribute funds from the sale of closed church property in an equitable, accountable manner to fund ministry initiatives across all eight districts. Park Medical Mission Fund

The ER Park Medical Mission Fund provides support for medical mission teams from the North Georgia Conference that support medical, dental and/or vision relief (including equipment and supplies) and service efforts of domestic and international partners associated with the general church or the North Georgia Bridges Initiatives.

Homeless Council Grants

Housing and Homeless Council Grants are awarded to churches and non-profit agencies that provide shelters, soup kitchens, transitional housing, clothing closets, and other services to very poor and/or homeless persons.

Golden Cross Grants

Golden Cross is a ministry that reaches out in love to the laity in our Annual Conference who are experiencing financial difficulty due to excessive medical expenses. Through Golden Cross, United Methodists care for members of our local churches in time of financial need.

Renfro Trust Fund

The Renfro Trust Fund awards annual bricks-and-mortar grants to small rural United Methodist congregations in the Southeastern Jurisdiction.​Applications must be received by August 1.
