Trunk or Treat Leads to 'Phenominal' Weekend for Life Springs

"Phenomenal weekend at Life Springs," beamed lead pastor Rev. Kyle Smith. "We did our first ever Trunk-N-Treat."

The weekend started out feeling more like a trick than a treat, however.

"We had nothing but problems leading up to the event and felt that it just was not meant to be this year," he said.  "Then the weather turned bad."

Smith hoped for 50-75 people to attend despite the weather.  But as families began arriving, he realized his fears of a flop were all wrong! Between 350-400 people streamed into the event.

"We have numerous families to follow up with," said Smith afterward. "Many that do not have a church home!  Some of the families came for worship on Sunday!"

Worship attendance was 182 the next day and the offering was an all time record for the church at $4,590!
