The Director of Discipleship Ministries and Christian Education is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing leadership and management of the Church’s education ministry. This position will oversee the Christian formation of members of all ages; will manage, plan, coordinate and resource the educational events that take place in the life of the church; supervise and administer educational ministries and staff (both lay and paid) including Children, Adult, Senior and Family. Requirements: a Bachelor’s Degree in an education-related field, preferably Christian Education; a minimum of 3 years of fulltime experience working with children and adults preferred, including knowledge of Christian Education curriculum and spiritual formation practices; good oral and written communication skills as well as good time management and organizational skills are essential.
